Jen Green is a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) who is board certified in Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO). She was born in Toronto, received her Arts & Science degree from McMaster University, and graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2000. Dr Green founded the Naturopathic Department at Beaumont Hospitals in 2008 and served as the department head for five years.
Jen currently serves as a Research Director for KNOW, the Knowledge in Naturopathic Oncology Website, which is a clinical tool to support decision making in integrative oncology. She was on the board of the Oncology Association Naturopathic Physicians from 2013-2015. She is also a member of the Michigan Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians & the Michigan chapter of the American Holistic Medical Association.
Jen is pleased to welcome Dr Michael Walker to the Emcura Integrative Medicine practice. After earning a bachelor's degree from Yale University, Dr Walker graduated from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. He completed a two year naturopathic oncology residency program and worked at Cancer Treatment Centers of America specializing in hematology oncology. Dr walker believes in patient empowerment, understanding the root cause of symptoms, and building a relationship with each unique patient. He teaches patients how to safely integrate natural medicine into their conventional care plan. Dr Walker sees cancer patients as well as primary care patients with concerns such thyroid/adrenal function, detoxification, fatigue, poor immunity and how to optimize welbeing.
